League Structure-
MiLPlay is an innovative gameplay format that brings men and women together on a level playing court.
In the MiLPlay format team matches are composed of four 21-point games, with the first being women’s doubles, then the men’s doubles, and the final two games consisting of mixed doubles. If there is a tie there will be a dream breaker game played to determine the winner (standard playing rules apply)
Rankings:
Week 1 (Rankings):
Returning teams will retain their rankings within the skill level they previously ended at in their last MiLP league they played in and new teams will randomly be put in at the bottom of their self-ranked skill level.
Week 2-8 Rankings:
Will be based on weekly wins and loses. Winning teams go up and the losing teams go down the leader board.
Scoring & Prizes:
Each week teams will receive 3 points for a regulation win, 2 points for a DreamBreaker win, 1 point for a DreamBreaker loss and 0 points for a regulation loss.
League prizes at the end of the league are awarded based on the teams with the highest amount of points.
If there is a tie with points then the team with the highest amount of points percentage to determine the winners of the league prizes.
Even if your team is not the highest ranking team at the end of the league, you can still win the league prize based on your points.
The top 4 teams with the highest amount of points at the end of the league will win $300 for 1st place, $200 for 2nd place, $150 for 3rd place and $100 for 4th place.
Missing Weeks:
If a team is not able to play their match for the week they will automatically be the team to go down on the leaderboard and not receive and team points for the week.
